About the Position:

The individual in this role holds comprehensive responsibility for the success and growth of the business unit by managing and optimising key business functions, fostering team performance, and driving financial and operational excellence.

This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer of Intelcom Courrier Canada.

The role maintains active and direct collaboration with the centres of expertise based at the service centre in Canada, leveraging specialised support in areas such as finance, human resources, technology, sales and business development, and operational excellence. These connections ensure that the business unit benefits from global best practices and expert guidance, enabling the local team to deliver high-impact solutions aligned with the organisation’s broader objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Profitability Management:

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial targets, including revenue growth and cost optimisation.
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance metrics, providing actionable insights to improve margins and ROI.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Manage talent acquisition, performance management, and succession planning.

Operational Oversight:

  • Ensure efficient operations by streamlining processes and optimising resource allocation.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Address operational risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Sales and Market Development:

  • Drive sales strategy and execution to achieve growth objectives.
  • Diversify customer base to expand revenue stream.
  • Oversee market analysis to identify opportunities and adapt to competitive trends.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve long-term business objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align business strategies with corporate goals.
