Job summary

One Harvest Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Machine Operator (VFFS) to join the High Care production team in our fast-paced FMCG environment. This is a permanent full-time role, offering stability and opportunities to grow within the business.

You will operate and set up Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) machinery, monitor line performance, troubleshoot faults, and conduct routine checks while upholding strict food safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating VFFS or similar packaging machinery is highly regarded.
• Background in FMCG or food manufacturing preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physically fit with manual handling up to 10 kg.
• Willingness to work in cold conditions (2–4°C) with PPE provided.
• Flexible to work weekends when required.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up VFFS bagging machines.
• Monitor line performance and adjust settings to meet targets.
• Troubleshoot machine faults and minimise downtime.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively to achieve daily production targets.
