Job summary

Greencross Vets Kedron is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our busy GP clinic and 24/7 animal emergency hospital team. You will assist veterinarians, provide compassionate patient care, and support client communications in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers part-time or full-time hours with opportunities for professional development and employee discounts on our veterinary services and products.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent required.
• Previous clinic/hospital experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends/public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with consultations, surgeries, and procedures.
• Provide compassionate care and monitoring for hospitalized pets.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed.
• Perform diagnostic tests (blood work, radiography).
• Maintain patient records and client communications.
