Job summary

The role accommodates nurses transitioning from GP practice to ECC, with on‑call shifts once a month and a roster designed for work‑life balance. Competitive above‑award hourly rates start at AU$40.16 plus super, penalties, and 17.5% annual leave loading.

Qualifications

• 2+ years clinical experience (ECC highly regarded but not essential).
• Flexibility to work a mix of nights, overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Growth mindset, love learning new skills and best-practice methods.
• Committed to providing quality care within an open hospital model.
• Be part of an on‑call roster, picking up one shift a month.
• Reliable mode of transport.
