Greencross Macedon Ranges in Woodend, VIC, is seeking a Veterinary Associate to join our rural practice on a permanent part-time basis (minimum 28.5 hours per week). The role suits a vet confident in consultations, routine surgery and sole charge when required, with a diverse caseload and wildlife presentations.

You will work with an experienced team of nurses and a Veterinary Director focused on ultrasound and internal medicine, delivering high-quality care in-house where possible.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree recognised for registration in Australia.

Veterinary Associate - Greencross Macedon Ranges

Looking for a clinic where you can practise quality medicine, enjoy a varied caseload, and be part of a genuinely supportive team?

Greencross Macedon Ranges is seeking an experienced veterinarian to join our close-knit rural practice in beautiful Woodend. This permanent part-time role offers a minimum of 28.5 hours per week and would suit a vet who is confident in consulting, routine surgery, and sole charge when required.

This role offers the opportunity to practise high-quality medicine and surgery in a well-supported rural clinic. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, routine surgical procedures and ongoing patient care.

With a Veterinarian Director who has a keen interest in ultrasound and internal medicine, our team is passionate about managing cases in-house wherever possible. Rather than referring routine medical work, we actively investigate and treat a broad range of conditions, giving our veterinarians exposure to a diverse and engaging caseload.

You'll work alongside an experienced team of veterinators, four permanent nurses and two casual nurses who are dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. The clinic also sees a significant number of wildlife presentations throughout the year, adding another layer of variety and challenge to an already rewarding role.
