Job summary

VC Operations Pty Ltd’s Tamborine Mountain Vet Group operates a network of four veterinary practices serving the Gold Coast Hinterland with modern facilities and a strong client focus.

The Yarrabilba Veterinary Hospital is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art clinic where a General Practitioner with at least 3 years of experience provides consults and surgery, supported by a dedicated team of nurses and vets.

Qualifications

• BVSc or equivalent recognised in Australia.
• 3+ years of veterinary experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Confident in both consults and surgery.
• Ability to work with team members and build rapport with clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide general practice veterinary services to a diverse caseload.
• Perform routine and complex surgeries as required.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, nurses and support staff to deliver high-quality care.
• Engage with clients to explain diagnoses, treatment plans and follow-up.

About the Practice

VC Operations Pty Ltd's Tamborine Mountain Vet Group is a network of four progressive veterinary practices delivering high-quality patient care and outstanding customer service across the Gold Coast Hinterland.

The Yarrabilba Veterinary Hospital is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art hospital, only four years old, located in a thriving community filled with young families and friendly pet owners. The practice offers a supportive and collaborative environment equipped with modern tools including Idexx in-house labs, dental radiography, ultrasound, and Vision VPM and Smartflow for streamlined case management.

The successful candidate will be backed by a team of skilled veterinary nurses and receptionists, as well as a wider network of experienced vets to consult with. The caseload is diverse, reflecting a broad client base of dedicated pet owners.

Ideal Candidate

• A General Practitioner with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or an equivalent degree recognised in Australia
• At least 3+ years of experience
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Confident in both consults and surgery
• An ability to work with fellow team members and build rapport with clients
• A desire to grow yourself and develop your career
