Hawthorn Vet in Adelaide, SA, is seeking an experienced Vet Nurse with a passion for surgical nursing and client care. The role focuses on supporting veterinarians with surgical procedures, providing excellent patient care, and delivering compassionate client communication.

Requirements include Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and minimum 2 years of hands-on clinic experience, along with strong clinical and surgical nursing skills, including anaesthesia monitoring and in-house lab work.

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ hands-on clinic experience.
• Strong clinical and surgical nursing skills, including blood collection, IV catheter placement, intubation and anaesthetic monitoring.
• In-house lab processing (bloods, urinalysis, cytology) and nurse consults (nail clips, anal glands, triage, first aid, history taking).
