Peninsula Veterinary Clinic in Hastings on the Mornington Peninsula is seeking an experienced veterinary nurse to join our growing team. This full-time role offers the chance to work across surgical, hospital, and reception duties in a modern, well-equipped clinic.

The successful candidate will be proactive, a strong team player, with customer service skills and the ability to multitask. Weekend and after-hours work are not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in surgical nursing.
• Capable of placing catheters and performing blood draws.
• Confidence in performing nurse consults.

Experienced Vet Nurse required | Full-time | Hastings, Mornington Peninsula

Calling all experienced vet nurses- we need you!

We are after more nursing support for our growing team. Full-time role (part-time considered).

About us:

We are an independently-owned mixed animal clinic with a dedicated and friendly client base, committed to providing high quality care for their pets.

The practice provides large animal services, mainly for lifestyle farms, and offers the opportunity to assist vets on farm visits if interested.

About you:

• experienced in surgical nursing
• capable of placing catheters, performing blood draws
• confidence in performing nurse consults
• experience using Idexx lab machines and EzyVet is desirable

We need someone who is:

• proactive
• a good team player
• has friendly customer service skills
• good at multitasking
• not afraid to get their hands dirty

About the clinic:

The modern purpose-built clinic is well equipped with ultrasound, digital xray, digital dental xray, Idexx Procyte, Sedivue & Catalysts analysers (with InVue coming) and has all the essential monitoring devices, including pulse ox, capnography, blood pressure and ECG.

The clinic has dedicated dog and cat areas, and houses 3 consulting rooms, a sterile surgery, large prep room with 2 tables, dental suite, imaging room and 2 hospital areas.
