Job summary

Sunshine Vet Clinic in Melbourne Inner West is seeking an experienced veterinary nurse (minimum 2 years) to join our team on a part-time basis. You will be involved in anaesthesia monitoring, surgical support, radiography, dental procedures, consults, and advanced nursing care inside a modern, well-equipped practice.

The role offers weekday coverage with some Saturday shifts, a supportive team environment, and opportunities for additional hours to cover leave.

Qualifications

• Has at least 2 years of experience in veterinary nursing.
• Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
• Confident in hospital nursing and hands-on care.
• Clear communication and strong client relationships.
• Mentoring and supporting junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Involved in all aspects of nursing, including anaesthesia monitoring and surgical support.
• Radiography and dental procedures (including dental x-ray).
• Assisting in consults and client communication.

The Role

This is a part-time position, with opportunities for additional hours to cover leave and support our growing caseload.

Roster includes:

• Weekday shifts (varied hours between 8am – 7.30pm)
• Some Saturday shifts (8am–1pm)
