Job summary

AdelaideVet is seeking passionate Veterinary Nurses to join our friendly team on a casual basis, with flexibility to promote a positive work/life balance. You will be based across our Prospect, Goodwood, Stirling, and Trinity Gardens clinics, participating in routine checks, medical cases and wildlife care.

We value hands-on nursing, client communication and fear-free handling, with ongoing training and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or relevant qualification (or currently studying).
• OR minimum 2 years’ nursing experience.
• Strong clinical skills including pathology, patient care, client communication and anaesthetic monitoring.
• Commitment to fear‑free handling and gold‑standard patient care.

Responsibilities

• Participate in routine checks and complex medical cases across clinics.
• Support wildlife treatment when required.
• Provide high-quality patient care and clear client communication.
• Assist in procedures and anaesthetic monitoring as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently studying or completed a certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or relevant qualification
• OR minimum 2 years’ experience in a nursing role
• A can-do attitude and willingness to learn and grow within your role
• A high understanding of clinical skills including pathology, patient care, client communication, and anaesthetic monitoring
