Job summary

Scots College in Bellevue Hill seeks an experienced Diploma of Business Teacher for VET programs. The role delivers industry-relevant VET Business, supports compliance with NESA, and drives student employability across Stage 4–6. A strong Christian ethos aligns with our college culture.

Qualifications include recognised teaching credentials, NSW/NESA registration, and VET accreditation. The appointee will engage in pastoral duties and contribute to curriculum leadership within the RTO.

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualifications and current NESA registration.
• Experience teaching Stage 6 Business Studies and/or Economics (HSC level preferred).
• VET Accreditation: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and maintaining VET currency.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured VET Business programs that align with competency-based training frameworks and industry standards.
• Compliance Management: ensure all programs, assessments, and validations meet VET regulatory and NESA requirements.
• Student Growth: foster high expectations and inclusive support for improved outcomes.
• Assessment & Reporting: maintain records of competency and provide feedback to students and families.
