Job summary

Southport Sharks is seeking a qualified tradesperson to join our Maintenance Team on a Tuesday - Saturday roster, helping keep our facilities operating safely and smoothly. You will undertake general repairs and preventative maintenance across the Club, Mantra at Sharks, Health Club and surrounding facilities.

Qualifications

• A recognised trade qualification in any relevant field.
• Broad practical maintenance and problem solving skills.
• Willingness to complete general handy person tasks outside core trade.
• A strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Reliable, approachable and able to work independently.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Availability to work flexibly when operational needs require it.

Responsibilities

• Completing general repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Supporting and carrying out preventative maintenance programs.
• Undertaking minor works within your trade qualifications and experience.
• Coordinating with team members and external contractors.
• Responding to maintenance requests across a busy, diverse venue.
• Keeping work areas, tools and maintenance records organised.
