Job summary

Southport Sharks is seeking a qualified tradesperson to join our Maintenance Team on a Tue-Sat roster. You will perform general repairs, preventative maintenance and assist with minor improvement projects across the Club, Mantra at Sharks, Health Club and surrounding facilities.

We welcome applicants from plumbers, carpenters, electricians or other trades with a practical hands-on approach who are committed to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• A recognised trade qualification in any relevant field.
• Broad practical maintenance and problem solving skills.
• Willingness to complete general handy person tasks outside core trade.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Reliable, approachable and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Completing general repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Supporting and carrying out preventative maintenance programs.
• Undertaking minor works within your trade qualifications and experience.
• Coordinating with team members and external contractors.
• Responding to maintenance requests across a busy, diverse venue.
• Keeping work areas, tools and maintenance records organised.
