Job summary

Firth in Rolleston, part of the Fletcher Building Group, is seeking a versatile Plant Operator and Concrete Truck Driver. You will split time between operating the plant and delivering concrete to sites, with a focus on safety, quality and customer service.

You’ll learn batching, perform quality checks, load trucks and support maintenance. A Class 4 licence is required, with advantageous experience in concrete, manufacturing, transport, or plant operations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 4 licence.

Responsibilities

• Combine plant operations with concrete delivery responsibilities.
• Learn batching and producing high‑quality concrete and conduct quality checks.
• Load trucks and support the production team with plant maintenance.
• Work with dispatch, plant teams and customers to ensure on‑time orders.
• Support safety practices and service delivery across the region.
