Job summary

Marcem Australia in Gladstone is seeking a hands-on Workshop All-Rounder to join our team. The role combines workshop duties, equipment preparation, basic maintenance, calibration, warehouse operations and customer support.

You will perform calibration, servicing, packing and dispatching, receive and process returns, operate a forklift, assist with quotations and maintain a clean, organized workshop environment. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).
• High attention to detail.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Full Australian driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Equipment calibration and testing.
• Basic servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Preparing and inspecting equipment for hire.
• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.
• Receiving and processing returned equipment.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Forklift operations.
• Assisting with quotations and customer enquiries.
• Maintaining workshop and warehouse organisation.
• Stock control and inventory management.
• Supporting workshop technicians and branch staff as required.
