Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Verification & Validation Engineer to assure the quality, compliance and performance of complex systems across the engineering lifecycle. You will collaborate with Systems Engineers, developers and cyber specialists to verify and validate requirements and deliver traceable evidence.

In this role you will develop test plans, execute test cases, analyse results and produce RTMs, reports and objective evidence while supporting agile delivery and security hardening

Qualifications

• Experience in verification and validation environments with system and subsystem requirements.
• Experience documenting test plans, test cases, verification procedures and validation activities.
• Experience executing test plans and assessing outcomes against defined requirements.
• Experience maintaining verification artefacts such as RTMs and test reports.
• Familiarity with cyber security principles and ISM controls; experience with security-related requirements validation.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence in Agile delivery programs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Systems Engineering teams to develop and execute verification activities against requirements.
• Develop and maintain V&V artefacts including test plans, cases, RTMs and reports.
• Execute formal verification activities, analyze results and provide objective evidence for system acceptance.
• Support Agile delivery with story development, planning and estimation while validating security requirements.
