Job summary

Funlab is seeking a Venue Manager to lead one of our Archie Brothers, Holey Moley and Strike Bowling venues in Fremantle. You will drive guest experiences, manage shifts, and oversee front-of-house and back-of-house operations to deliver memorable entertainment experiences.

With 2-3 years of venue management experience, you will recruit and coach a high-energy team, while maintaining a guest-first culture and strong commercial focus. This role is based on-site in Fremantle, WA, Australia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience managing a busy entertainment/hospitality venue.
• RSA, state-appropriate managers license and Working with Children Check required.
• Availability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead with energy: motivate your team to create unforgettable experiences.
• Drive revenue: upsell and wow guests with a commercial mindset on shift.
• Transform venues into top FUN destinations.
• Mentor a high-energy team of CS, bartenders and hosts.
• Oversee front of house and back of house functions: rosters, recruitment, training, P&L, forecasting.

$86,000 - $100,000 + Super + Bonuses up to $12,000

What You'll Do

• Lead with energy: Be a hands-on, guest-focused leader who motivates your team to create unforgettable experiences
• Boost revenue: Drive up and cross selling to enhance the guest experience and go the extra mile to wow our guests. Run amazing shifts with your commercial mindset
• Create WOW spaces: Transform your venue into the ultimate FUN destination
• Support your team: Inspire and mentor a high-energy team of customer service, bartender and function host pros
• Manager & oversee operations: Take control of front of house & back of house portfolios like rosters, recruitment, training, P&L management, forecasting, and more
• Cultivate culture: Build a collaborative, inclusive vibe that makes coming to work exciting
• Grow and shine: Amplify your skills and those of your team while mastering all aspects of a bustling entertainment venue

What You've Got

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience managing a busy entertainment / hospitality venue
• A valid RSA, relevant state approved managers license and Working with Children Check
• Availability to work nights and weekends. After all, that’s where the action is at!
• An obsession with providing the best guest experiences
• Experience in driving revenues on shift
• Proactive, with a sense of urgency and a positive can-do attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well organised planner who works well under timeline pressures and tackling multiple priorities
• Capable problem-solver and thinking on your feet
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships with different stakeholders
• A desire to show off what you've got and what heights you can take the business!
