Job summary

The Crafty Pint is seeking a Venue Manager to run our new Adelaide Central Market taproom from October 2026. You will lead the front-of-house team, own the service standards, and curate a beer offering in collaboration with the brewing team.

You’ll manage rosters, stock, pricing and events, ensuring a consistent, high-quality guest experience. You should have 3+ years in venue management, a track record in high-volume service, strong financial literacy, and a genuine passion for craft beer.

Qualifications

• Three or more years in venue management, assistant management or senior bar leadership.
• Track record running floor service in a high-volume, quality-driven venue.
• Strong financial literacy: ability to roster to a wage budget, read a P&L, and manage COGS.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and lead front-of-house team ahead of opening and shape culture.
• Own service standards across market hours, after-work and weekends.
• Curate the offer across core range, seasonals and guest taps, plus merch.
• Run day-to-day venue operations: rostering, ordering, stocktakes, pricing and margins.
• Build events and programming calendar with marketing support.
• Provide structured feedback to production on beers/drinks moving and forecast needs.
