Australian Venue Co. is seeking an experienced Venue Manager for Berserker Tavern, a high-volume, community-focused hospitality venue in Rockhampton. You will lead day-to-day operations, coach a multi‑unit management team, optimise labour and costs, and drive guest satisfaction.

You’ll build a positive team culture, develop people, and grow community engagement while ensuring compliance and delivering strong commercial results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a venue management or similar role.
• Proven hospitality leadership with strong tenure.
• Track record of building, developing and retaining great teams.
• Strong communication and people leadership skills.

We're looking for an experienced Venue Manager to lead the team and continue building on the venue's strong local reputation. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality leader who enjoys running busy operations, developing people, driving commercial results and creating memorable guest experiences.

• Has at least 2 years' experience in a similar Venue Manager role
• Is a stable and proven hospitality leader with strong tenure
• Has a commercial mindset and understands how to drive revenue and profitability
• Has a track record of building, developing and retaining great teams
• Leads from the front with strong communication and people leadership skills
• Thrives in a fast-paced, community-focused environment
