Job summary

Kingpin is launching Bondi, seeking a visionary Venue General Manager to lead pre-opening planning, recruitment, launch and ongoing operations. You will shape culture, guest experience and commercial success for a landmark venue in Sydney.

You will inspire a large leadership team, drive excellence across food & beverage, attractions and events, and deliver exceptional results while building a flagship hospitality destination.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading large hospitality, entertainment, or leisure venues.
• Strong ability to drive commercial results and guest experiences.
• Experience managing senior leaders and large teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of venue operations with focus on guest experience and commercial outcomes.

Lead the Launch of Kingpin Bondi

This is more than a Venue General Manager role. It's an opportunity to lead the opening of one of the most exciting entertainment destinations in Australia.

As our Venue General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing this landmark venue to life. From pre-opening planning and team recruitment through to launch and ongoing operations, you'll shape the culture, guest experience and commercial success of a venue built to set a new benchmark for social entertainment.

We're looking for an exceptional leader with a strong hospitality background, proven commercial acumen and a passion for developing high‑performing teams. You'll inspire a large leadership team, create memorable guest experiences and drive outstanding results across food and beverage, attractions, events and entertainment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Leading all aspects of venue operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and strong commercial outcomes
• Building, coaching and developing a high‑performing leadership team and venue culture
• Driving food and beverage excellence across multiple bars, dining and event offerings
• Delivering financial performance through effective planning, forecasting and cost management
• Creating a sales‑through‑service culture that maximises revenue while putting guests first
• Maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, presentation and operational excellence

• Proven success leading large, complex hospitality, entertainment or leisure venues
• Strong food and beverage leadership experience with a track record of commercial results
