JJR Engineering on the Gold Coast is seeking hands-on trade-qualified technicians to fabricate and fit out truck bodies and components. You’ll bring experience in fabrication, fitting and MIG welding in a modern workshop, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Enjoy a 4-day week, onsite parking and uniforms/PPE provided. A weekly attendance bonus is offered, plus health fund and car/fuel discounts as part of the benefits package.

Formación

• Trade-qualified in automotive manufacturing operations.
• Experience in fabrication, fitting and assembly of truck bodies and components.
• Knowledge of MIG welding, hydraulics and electrical systems is highly regarded.
• Strong focus on workshop safety and quality.
• Forklift licence is a bonus

Responsabilidades

• Build and fit out brand-new truck bodies and bins in a modern workshop.
• Operate fabrication, fitting and assembly processes to high quality standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance practices.
• Be able to pass a practical skills test and a pre-employment medical.

Location: Yatala, Gold Coast
Pay: $40 per hour + Super
Schedule: Monday to Thursday – every weekend is a long weekend!
Bonus: $130-$220 Weekly Attendance Bonus!

What We’re Looking For:

Trade-Qualified - Automotive Manufacturing Technical Operations

Experience in fabrication, fitting, and assembly of truck bodies and components

MIG Welding skills, Hydraulic and Electrical experience – highly regarded

Strong focus on workshop safety and quality

Forklift Licence – bonus points if you have one

Ability to pass a practical skills test & pre-employment medical
