Job summary
The Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development invites applications for a Natural Resource Management Officer based in Charleville. Qualifications
- Experience interpreting vegetation management legislation or framework.
Responsibilities
- Assess applications under vegetation management legislation.
- Undertake field and desktop assessments.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for landholders and stakeholders.
- Provide advice to landholders, stakeholders and organisations.
- Contribute to vegetation management assessments and policy implementation.
- Support business improvement initiatives and high-quality service delivery.
- Engage with customers across Queensland; mix of office and field work.
- Interpret legislation, analyse information, communicate clearly and build productive relationships.
- GIS experience highly regarded.
