Job summary

Contour Education in Victoria seeks motivated VCE Mathematical Methods and VCE Specialist Maths Assistant Tutors to support lead tutors in dynamic group classes (8–20 students). You’ll assist in delivery, help students deepen understanding, and foster confidence in their learning.

You will also conduct 1-on-1 video consultations, provide text-based post-class support, and review materials to ensure quality and accuracy. This role offers a hybrid work-from-home component.

Qualifications

• VCE Maths Methods and/or VCE Specialist Maths tutoring experience preferred.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
• Commitment to weekly classes and a full academic year.

Responsibilities

• Support lead tutors in small group classes (8–20 students).
• Conduct 1-on-1 video consultations outside class hours.
• Provide ongoing text-based student support after class.
