Job summary

Home Ice Cream (Sulles Pty Ltd) is hiring full-time Van Sales Operators to serve as the face of the business. You will deliver pre-packaged ice cream door to door, presentably dressed, and focused on friendly customer service within our depot operations at Seventeen Mile Rocks, Qld.

Training is provided on commencement; no prior experience required though customer service helps. Hours are roughly Tue–Fri 12:00–20:30 and Sat 9:30–18:00, with a supportive team and uniforms supplied.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service is favourable but not essential.
• Neat and professional presentation skills.
• Good English and ability to take and process payments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-packaged ice cream door to door in suburban streets following a proven system.
• Sales with a focus on customer interaction and satisfaction.
• Autonomy and team support.
• Order and load truck with ice cream products (small cartons under 5kg).
• Working hours approx. Tue–Fri 12:00–20:30 and Sat 9:30–18:00.

Home Ice Cream (Sulles Pty Ltd) has full-time vacancies for Ice Cream Van Sales Operators. Our Depot Operations are located at Seventeen Mile Rocks, Qld.

We are looking for people with lots of experience or no experience in the retail industry, as all training will be provided on the commencement of your employment.

As a Van Sales Operator, you are the face of our business. How you provide service to our customers will ultimately influence whether they purchase again in the future.You will be expected to be well presented, have a friendly attitude and be a team player with a real focus on customer service and company culture.

WHAT YOUR DAY INVOLVES

• Delivering pre-packaged ice cream products door to door in suburban streets, following a proven system operating for over 30 years.
• Sales, with a focus on customer interaction and satisfaction.
• Autonomy and team support.
• Ordering and loading your truck with ice cream products (small cartons under 5kg).
• Working hours (approx.) from Tuesday to Friday 12 noon to 8:30 pm (4 days), and Saturday from 9:30 to 6pm (40 Hrs).

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE POSITION

• A big SMILE, honesty, reliability, and punctuality.
• Previous experience in customer service is favourable (but not essential).
• Neat and professional presentation skills.
• Good English and taking and processing payments.
• Ability to drive and navigate streets, suburban roads and/or regional areas according to the territory Route book.
