Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Van Driver in Redbank to operate a company van, collect mail and parcels, and sort items at the depot. You’ll deliver to local communities with support from senior drivers, while prioritising safety and accurate handling of mail.

Training and career growth opportunities are available within transport and operations. You must hold a current Australian driver’s licence, be reliable, and able to work Monday to Friday 10:15am–6:06pm.

Qualifications

• Hold a full or probationary Australian driver’s licence.
• Safety‑focused and able to pass our practical driving assessment.
• Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work additional hours when required.
• Detail‑oriented and consistent, taking pride in getting the job done right.
• Comfortable handling mail and parcels up to 16kg as part of daily work.
• Meet our safe working load requirement of 130kg or less.
• Keen to learn, develop skills and progress your career in transport and operations.
• Must be able to work Monday to Friday 10.15am - 6.06pm.

Responsibilities

You’ll unload and accurately sort mail and parcels, complete daily vehicle safety checks, and take pride in doing the job right every time. You’ll be supported on the road by experienced senior drivers who are invested in your development, helping you build capability, confidence, and a strong foundation for long‑term success.
