Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior strategy/finance professional to drive value through rigorous business cases, financial modelling and AI value discussions with C-suite stakeholders in APAC. You will translate AI capabilities into compelling narratives, set measurement models, and track realised benefits against projections throughout delivery.

With 5+ years in strategy consulting or related fields and a strong ability to challenge engineering estimates, you will influence investment decisions using

Qualifications

• Five+ years in strategy consulting, business transformation, value engineering or a strong finance background.
• Solid financial modelling capability and comfort with incomplete data.
• Understanding of AI value drivers and enough technical fluency to challenge engineering estimates.
• Ability to hold a position with senior client stakeholders under pressure.
• Experience with benefits realisation on programmes where the benefit was measured afterwards.
• Clear written and verbal reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients and Avanade Next teams to identify, quantify and prioritise opportunities
• Assess value pools, strategic priorities, operational constraints and feasibility
• Sequence use cases by value and feasibility
• Build value hypotheses, business cases and baselines during shaping
• Translate AI capability into narratives recognised by CFOs, COOs and Boards
• Set the measurement model before delivery starts
• Track realised versus projected benefit through delivery
• Report benefit variance transparently at each gate
• Recommend stopping, re-scoping or re-prioritising work where value is no longer achievable
• Work alongside FDEs and Trust Architects throughout delivery
• Contribute verified outcomes and benchmark data to the APAC value library
• Support outcome-based and value-based commercial models with defensible numbers
• Establish and baseline business cases on every engagement
• Track benefits across production deployments and report at each gate
• Validate business case assumptions post-deployment and explain variance
• Contribute to the APAC value benchmark library each quarter using verified outcomes
• Enable executive stakeholders to make investment decisions with quantified value, risk and implementation assumptions

• Australian Citizens are preferred; Permanent Residents will also be considered
