Job summary

Select Harvests is seeking a Team Leader - Value Add Facility to join our Processing team at the Carina West Processing Facility. This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the value-add almond processing area, ensuring production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are consistently achieved.

You will lead a team responsible for processing and packaging almonds, coordinating production schedules and maintaining efficient workflow across the facility.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in manufacturing or processing.
• Experience leading teams to meet production and safety targets.
• Ability to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Good computer literacy and maintaining operational records.
• Current forklift licence or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement production schedules to meet deadlines.
• Lead and supervise team members to achieve production, quality and safety targets.
• Ensure products are produced and packaged to the required quality standards.
• Monitor production efficiency and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production and inventory records.
• Ensure facilities, plant and equipment are maintained and operated according to manufacturer specifications.
• Manage stock levels of packaging materials and coordinate ordering when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, particularly Work Health and Safety, Quality Assurance, HACCP and SQF standards.
