Bring your experience to deliver an innovative and sustainable collection acquisitions service. You will lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services to acquire and activate the Library’s digital and physical collections in line with the University’s research, teaching, and learning needs.

In this pivotal role, you will provide a range of specialist professional services to deliver an active user-driven collection. You will be a key liaison point between the portfolio, university and internal and external client groups and work closely with internal partners such as academic and divisional staff to ensure the Library’s collection acquisitions are aligned with the University’s research and education priorities.

Utilising your highly developed planning and organisational skills, you will initiate, plan and deliver projects to optimise content and collection acquisition via streamlined and sustainable workflows and innovative acquisition models to help to drive discovery, access, and collaborative collection acquisition initiatives.

As theCollection Acquisitions and Activation Coordinatoryou will support the Content and Collections Manager, to deliver the Library’s program of activities as well as provide specialist advice that contributes to the advancement of the Library’s objectives. In this position, you will also provide support to projects and events while undertaking a variety of general duties to meet the operational demands of the Collections and Technology Division.
