A leading defence technology company in Canberra is seeking a Verification & Validation Engineer to ensure complex systems meet performance standards. Applicants must be Australian citizens with an active NV-2 security clearance. Expression of Interest
We’re seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Verification & Validation Engineers to support the delivery of advanced national security technology solutions. We are currently planning to engage in new projects that will require additional talent to help.
Your New Role and Responsibilities
The Verification & Validation Engineer ensures that complex systems meet rigorous performance and compliance standards. You’ll lead testing and validation efforts across hardware and software platforms, contributing to the successful delivery of sophisticated hybrid cloud infrastructure and supporting services.
Under the direction of a designated Chief Architect, our team performs the following functions as individual assignments or as part of a team:
Develop and execute verification and validation (V&V) plans, procedures, and compliance matrices.
Conduct functional, environmental, and acceptance testing aligned with industry standards.
Ensure traceability of requirements across system components and documentation.
Analyse test results, identify defects, and support resolution with engineering teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to align testing strategies.
Support production and quality teams with test equipment setup and diagnostics.
What You'll Bring to Make an Impact
Degree or proven experience in Systems Engineering or Software Engineering is highly desirable.
Experience in Defence, Aerospace, or Federal Government projects.
Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., ALM, Jira).
Understanding of regulatory compliance and standards relevant to defence technologies.
