Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Project Engineer – Utilities for a six-month contract in the Central-West Orana region of Australia. The role involves coordinating utility relocations, undergrounding lines, and relocating cables, with bus-in, bus-out logistics and camp-style accommodation on a 14 days on/7 days off roster.

You will work closely with Essential Energy, Telstra, and other asset owners to manage approvals, design reviews, and site access, delivering safe and compliant relocations within the

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Experience in utility relocations and construction projects.
Strong coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Engage subcontractors and ensure scope, program, quality and safety compliance on site.
Coordinate with asset owners on approvals, outages and access.
Review relocation designs for constructability and resolve issues with designers.
Sequence relocation works with the broader construction program to ensure site access.
Track progress, cost and schedule; prepare status reports and forecasts.
Prepare Inspection Test Plans and checklists; manage non-conformances.
Manage permits, approvals, and landowner interfaces linked to relocation works.
