Job summary

Perth Airport is seeking a Network Manager to lead the safe, reliable operation of its utility networks including water, wastewater, drainage and gas. You will set asset strategies, lifecycle plans and investment programs to support current operations and future growth.

The role requires engineering expertise, strong leadership and proven ability to manage contractors and stakeholders across complex infrastructure projects. A Chartered status or Engineers Australia membership is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Water Resources, Mechanical or similar).
• Extensive experience in utility network operations, planning, asset management or infrastructure delivery.
• Strong understanding of lifecycle asset management, risk, compliance and network performance.
• Experience with network modelling, capital planning and investment decision-making.
• Knowledge of SCADA, GIS, telemetry and asset management systems.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Perth Airport's water, wastewater, sewerage, drainage and gas networks, ensuring safe, reliable and sustainable operations.
• Develop network strategies, asset management plans and lifecycle investment programs.
• Lead network planning, modelling and optimisation to support future growth and resilience.
• Provide technical leadership and assurance for infrastructure projects, upgrades and operational activities.
• Manage compliance, risk, incident response and service continuity across utility networks.
• Build strong relationships with Water Corporation, ATCO, contractors, regulators and key stakeholders.
• Drive performance improvements through effective asset management, data analytics and continuous improvement initiatives.
