ForHealth is expanding its Urgent Care team in Australia. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high‑quality nursing support, perform timely triage and work closely with Urgent Care Medical Practitioners to ensure optimal patient care.

You will engage in hands‑on clinical tasks such as wound care, suturing and plastering, while maintaining compassionate care, accurate documentation, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in Emergency, triage, ICU/CCU or rural/remote nursing.
• Triage or remote nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and escalation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact and conduct triage.
• Assess and prioritise care; identify emergencies or deterioration.
• Deliver wound care, suturing, plastering and assist procedures.
• Provide compassionate, patient‑centred care with families and practitioners.
• Support patients with health education and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Contribute to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Adapt to a fast‑paced urgent care environment.

About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care team. You will provide high-quality nursing support, conduct timely patient triage, identify deterioration and work closely with Urgent Care Medical Practitioners to deliver excellent patient care.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact and conduct accurate, timely nursing triage.


• Assess patients, prioritise care and identify/escalate emergencies or deterioration.

About You

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.


• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse.


• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Emergency, triage, ICU/CCU or rural/remote nursing.


• Previous triage, emergency or remote nursing experience preferred.


• Strong clinical assessment and escalation skills.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to work autonomously, delegate appropriately and work effectively within a team.


• Passion for patient‑centred care.


• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
