Job summary

ForHealth is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to support the Urgent Care Service in South Australia. You will work with Registered Nurses to provide safe, efficient nursing care for urgent, non-life-threatening conditions and contribute to patient flow and documentation.

Eligible candidates must hold current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse, have flexibility for evenings and weekends, and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork and attention to detail in a fast-paced primary care setting.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as Enrolled Nurse.
• Flexible availability for evenings and weekends.
• Experience in Primary Care/General Practice nursing or Emergency Department/Medical-Surgical settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming, organised clinical environment.
• Balance administrative duties (Medicare billing, coding, documentation) with hands-on care.
• Welcome patients, assist with appointments and maintain registration details.
• Deliver high-quality nursing care for injuries and illnesses alongside Registered Nurses.
• Administer medications, wound care and plastering as scoped.
• Provide patient education and recovery guidance; support appropriate pathways.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical records and contribute to safety initiatives.
