Job summary

ForHealth is expanding its Urgent Care Service in South Australia and seeks an Enrolled Nurse to provide safe, high-quality nursing support for urgent, non-life-threatening conditions. You will work with Registered Nurses to enhance patient care and develop clinical skills within a growing primary healthcare model.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Flexible availability for evenings and weekends.
• Experience requirements: 3 years in Primary Care/General Practice nursing; or 2 years in Emergency Department or similar; or 3 years in Medical/Surgical/acute care.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage escalations.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to obtain Working with Children and Police Checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming, organised and efficient clinical environment.
• Balance administrative duties, including Medicare billing, with hands-on clinical care.
• Welcome patients, assist with appointments and maintain registrations.
• Deliver high-quality care for injuries and illnesses alongside Registered Nurses.
• Conduct patient histories and provide clinical care including medication administration, wound care and plastering.
