Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our Urgent Care Service in New South Wales. You will support Registered Nurses, deliver high‑quality nursing care for urgent but not life‑threatening conditions, and contribute to safe, patient‑centred care in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist with clinical tasks, administrative duties, and wound care, while maintaining professional standards and working collaboratively with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Must be flexible and available evenings and weekends.
• Meet the minimum experience: 3 years Primary Care/General practice OR 2 years Emergency Department OR 3 years Medical/Surgical/Ortho or similar acute care.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle escalations, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• A passion for patient-centered care and a personable approach.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, organized and efficient clinical environment—balancing administrative tasks (Medicare billing, coding, documentation) with hands-on clinical work.
• Be the friendly face patients rely on—assist with scheduling and keep registrations accurate for a smooth patient experience.
• Work alongside Registered Nurses to deliver care for injuries and illnesses in Urgent Care.
• Perform clinical care activities—history taking, medications administration, wound care and education to empower recovery.
• Maintain professional standards and safety; ensure care aligns with policies and safe practices.
• Support patient guidance by making sound assessments of inclusion/exclusion criteria.
• Document with precision to support ongoing treatment and quality care.
• Champion workplace health and safety by reporting incidents and hazards.
