ForHealth is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our Urgent Care Service in South Australia. You will work alongside Registered Nurses to provide safe, high‑quality nursing support for urgent but non-life‑threatening conditions.

This role offers opportunities to develop clinical skills in a growing primary care setting. Key responsibilities include patient histories, wound care, medication administration, and education, while maintaining accurate records and Medicare documentation.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Flexible availability for evenings and weekends.
• Experience in Primary Care/General Practice nursing, Emergency Department, or Medical/Surgical/acute care settings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage escalations.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Passion for patient-centred care.
• Willingness to obtain Working with Children and Police Checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming, organised and efficient clinical environment.
• Balance administrative duties, including Medicare billing, coding and documentation, with hands-on clinical care.
• Welcome patients, assist with appointments and maintain registration details.
• Work with Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality care for injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct patient histories and provide clinical care including medication administration and wound care.
• Provide patients with education and recovery guidance.
• Assess patient inclusion/exclusion criteria and support patient pathways.
• Deliver care within scope and according to ForHealth policies.
• Maintain accurate clinical records.
• Contribute to workplace health, safety and quality initiatives.
