Job summary

AECOM Sydney is seeking an experienced Sector Manager in Urbanism + Planning to lead a multidisciplinary team of architects, landscape architects, urban designers and planners. You will grow the business, nurture client relationships and deliver technically excellent projects.

You will guide governance, risk management and quality across complex assignments, while promoting digital tools and inclusive practice to enhance outcomes and team capability. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Planning or related discipline with eligibility for registration.
Extensive city-shaping project experience; leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
Proven market-facing capability in client relationships, business development and bids.
Governance leadership with oversight of profit, risk, quality and delivery in large organisations.
Strategic mindset, with commitment to innovation, digital capability and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

Lead and inspire a high-performing, multidisciplinary team across architecture, landscape, urban design and planning.
Drive market growth and client engagement in NSW/ACT and represent AECOM in local market forums.
Ensure excellence in project delivery, governance, quality, risk management and use of AECOM systems.
Champion digital innovation and adoption of tools to enhance project outcomes and bids.
