Job summary

The Country Fire Authority (CFA) invites applications for a Program Manager - Fleet Services (Urban and Specialist) based in Scoresby. You will lead the delivery of major fleet programs, overseeing planning, budgeting and governance to ensure safe, on-time outcomes for CFA’s urban and specialist fleets.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or significant program management experience.
• Proven ability to lead large programs in complex environments and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to produce concise, insightful project reports for senior management.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills across internal and external partners.
• Experience with risk management and governance in government/IR contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of major fleet programs from planning through to completion.
• Provide strategic advice to senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Monitor program performance, budgets, risks, dependencies and benefits.
• Prepare reports and updates for senior management and governance committees.
• Build relationships with CFA, government, suppliers and industry partners.
• Ensure projects follow CFA governance, quality standards and processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve program delivery and share best practices.
