Job summary

Mildura Rural City Council is seeking a Landscape & Urban Forest Planner to help shape greener streetscapes and vibrant public spaces in Mildura. You will provide specialist advice, contribute to strategic planning and policy development, and deliver urban landscape initiatives to enhance liveability and sustainability.

The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes, and offers a Band 6 classification with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in landscape architecture, planning or related discipline with industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience in developing partnerships with organisations and influence their ability to deliver shared outcomes in the planning and delivery of recreation and open space services.
• The ability to contribute to complex policy and strategy projects in the relevant field of expertise to achieve successful outcomes.
• A current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one
