Job summary

Pedare Christian College is seeking several passionate Upper Primary teachers for a 2027 start on a 1.0 FTE, 12-month contract. You will report to the Head of School and inspire students across key learning stages.

The role requires knowledge of the Australian curriculum, Guided Inquiry experience, and strong classroom management. Some out-of-hours work and participation in extras are anticipated.

Qualifications

• Must hold current SA Teacher Registration.
• WWCC verification required prior to commencement.
• RRHAN certificate required.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons aligned to the Australian Curriculum for Upper Primary/Middle School.
• Set programmes and learning objectives based on the curriculum.
• Provide feedback and support to help students reach their potential.
• Maintain classroom discipline and manage assessments and records.
• Participate in extracurricular activities when required.
• Collaborate with colleagues and report to Head of School.
