• Proven experience in an underwriting administrative or support role within insurance/finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist Underwriters with pre and post-binding of accounts and coordinate with Shared Services.
• Submit requests on in-house platforms and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Collaborate with offshore team for quotes, name clearance, and binding of quotes.
• Facilitate smooth handover with underwriters and provide clear policy instructions.
• Ensure all documents are sent to processing teams and maintain data accuracy.
• Manage reinsurance payments in line with credit terms and SLAs.
• Process mid-term endorsements and issue Certificates of Currency as requested.
• Monitor premium collection and enter system data accurately.
• Generate premium calculations and verify data matches terms.
• Generate Claims History when required and keep records up-to-date.
• Assist Credit Control with queries and premium discrepancy investigations.
• Address client/broker requests and refer to underwriters as needed.
• Review and amend documentation before final underwriter approval.
• Maintain data quality accuracy ratios per metrics and standards.
• Develop expertise on systems and processes and support colleagues.
