Job summary

Gold Fields is seeking a Ventilation Engineer to join our Underground Mining Team at the Agnew Gold Mine. You will report to the Mine Ventilation Superintendent and optimise ventilation demand and supply to support efficient gold extraction and maximise value.

You will drive ventilation planning across LOM horizons, lead coordination with mining teams, and contribute to ventilation projects while ensuring compliance with WA regulations and accurate record keeping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Completion of WHS risk management units and legislation examination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mining software (Deswik CAD, Ventsim Design).
• Manual driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Drive ventilation planning across LOM horizons to support production and safety.
• Lead ventilation coordination and provide direction to mining teams and contractors.
• Support ventilation projects and capital infrastructure planning.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with WA legislation and regulations.
• Fulfill WA Ventilation Officer duties as required.
