Job summary

Redpath Australia is seeking an experienced Shotcrete Operator to join our Federation Mine team in New South Wales. This role focuses on applying primary ground support in a dynamic underground environment, operating shotcrete equipment and related machinery while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will conduct pre-start checks, complete required safety documentation, and contribute to ongoing underground mine services.

Qualifications

• Underground shotcrete experience with specified equipment (e.g., Jacon, Normet Spraymec) is preferred.
• Experience operating agitator trucks, batch plants and related underground mining machinery.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications are highly regarded.
• Valid manual driver’s licence and strong safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate shotcrete spraying equipment to install primary ground support.
• Perform pre-start inspections and complete safety documentation (Take 5s, JSAs).
• Operate and maintain shotcrete machines, agitator trucks, and batch plant infrastructure.
• Follow site procedures and safety/quality requirements.
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety initiatives.
• Maintain equipment and report defects or maintenance needs.
• Complete daily activity reports and report hazards or incidents.
• Assist with general underground mine service activities as required.
