Job summary

Byrnecut Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Underground Shift Supervisor to join our Prominent Hill operation in South Australia. You will lead underground crews, coordinate paste and service activities, and ensure safe, efficient delivery of daily targets in a demanding mining environment.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks and daily planning, maintain safety standards, and mentor crew members.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising underground crews in mining.
• Paste and/or underground service crew exposure preferred.
• SA Shift Supervisor ticket or equivalent required.
• S26 or equivalent statutory qualification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership to underground crews.
• Coordinate paste and service crew activities as needed.
• Plan and supervise daily work to meet targets safely.
• Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks and daily planning.
• Maintain site safety systems and timely communications.
