Job summary

Glencore is seeking an Automation Engineer for the Ulan Underground Mine. You will lead the automation equipment and communication systems, reporting to the Engineering Manager. The role emphasises reliability, supervision, and continuous improvement to deliver mine site outputs.

Ideal candidates have a strong electrical/engineering background, SCADA and Rockwell Automation knowledge, and IT networking experience. Relocation/allowances may be provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

Electrical trade qualification or tertiary Engineering qualification.
In-depth knowledge of SCADA systems and Rockwell Automation software.
IT networking and system administration experience desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead, maintain and develop automation equipment and communication systems across the operation.
Focus on system reliability and continuous improvement.
Oversee supervision of personnel to deliver site outputs.
