Job summary

PIMS Group is seeking a Painter to support Township Maintenance Services in Queensland. You will perform surface preparation, apply coatings and finishes, and ensure WHS compliance on residential, commercial or industrial projects.

Qualifications

Australian trade qualification in Painting and Decorating (Certificate III or equivalent).
Proven painting experience in residential, commercial or industrial projects.
Surface preparation including cleaning, sanding, filling and priming.
Proficiency in applying paints, stains, varnishes and finishes.
Familiarity with brushes, rollers, spray guns and sanding equipment.
WHS standards and safe material handling knowledge.
White Card and a valid manual driver's license with reliable transport.
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic and team player.
Strong communication and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Carry out painting works to required standards on Township Maintenance projects.
Prepare surfaces and apply coatings to various substrates.
Maintain WHS compliance and safe work practices.
Coordinate with clients and supervisors to meet deadlines.
