Job summary

Westgold Resources in Western Australia is seeking Experienced Underground Nippers to support underground mining across our sites. In this role you will work closely with underground crews, assisting with materials delivery, service installation and general mine support activities.

Applicants must have a current WA C Class Driver's Licence, prior underground mining experience and a solid understanding of underground hazards.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Sound understanding of underground mining operations and hazards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to contribute to a safe and efficient workplace.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect underground equipment, tools and materials.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of underground services and infrastructure.
• Remove waste materials from underground areas and transport to disposal locations.
• Support Jumbo Operators and ground support activities.
• Assist underground crews with daily mining activities as required.
• Maintain housekeeping and keep equipment and work areas clean and organized.
• Complete tasks safely, efficiently and per procedures.
• Comply with Westgold safety standards and work practices.
