Bluestone Mines Tasmania Joint Venture Pty Ltd – Melbourne VIC is seeking a proactive Mining Engineer to join our Technical Services team. You will apply mine planning, scheduling, ventilation and backfill expertise to support integrated planning and safe, efficient production across a diverse underground operation.

Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, you will mentor other engineers, develop drill and blast plans, and contribute to medium and long-term mine designs while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in underground hard rock mining.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Optimise ore extraction through technical and financial planning within constraints.
• Demonstrate safety leadership and promote safe practices.
• Complete mine design work for Stope Notes and Panel Notes to support safe outcomes.
