Job summary

Ramelius Resources Limited is recruiting a Mining Engineer for an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth, based at Mt Magnet - Galaxy underground. You’ll deliver safe, efficient underground designs and contribute to planning across multiple stoping fronts.

You are an experienced Underground Mining Engineer with a strong safety culture, capable of leading drill and blast design, ore recovery optimisation, and collaborating with geology, planning and contractors to drive production improvements.

Qualifications

• Underground mining experience with emphasis on development and production.
• Strong drill and blast design capability.
• Experience with mine design software and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver drill, blast and underground designs that maximise value, productivity and ore recovery.
• Lead drill and blast activities across multiple stoping fronts, ensuring safe and effective execution.
• Contribute to mine planning and scheduling to support safe, compliant and efficient production.
• Optimise designs to maximise grade and recovery while minimising dilution.
• Monitor production performance, reporting and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Geology, Planning, Production and contractors to deliver mining outcomes.
• Support team capability, contractor management and a strong safety culture across the operation.
• Assist with paste and fill notes, ventilation requirements and other technical mining activities.
