Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti Australia Limited in Western Australia is seeking an Underground Mine Surveyor to join our Tropicana Gold Mine team on an 8 days on/6 days off FIFO roster from Perth and/or Kalgoorlie. Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, you will manage surveying activities to enable safe and efficient mine production.

You will work with the latest underground technology, including Deswik software and Leica survey equipment, extend and verify survey control networks, and update mine models

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Surveying.
• Familiarity with Deswik software.
• Underground survey experience preferred.
• C Class driver's licence (manual preferred).
• National Police Clearance and permanent work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Safety-focused surveying activities to support mine production.
• Extend and verify UG and surface survey control networks.
• Schedule and prioritise survey tasks across technical and mining teams.
• Update mine models, void scanning, and monthly reporting.
• Create plans and reports using spatial data for UG advancement.
• Collaborate within the team on critical tasks.
